A MODULAR DESIGN TO SUIT EVERY NEED
The modular concept of Savino Barbera products allows us to offer custom-made pumps and mixers when very specific industrial requirements arise, as they have a frequent tendency to do. We have been manufacturing machinery for chemical processes for many years and know all too well that every system has different characteristics and needs. And while our approach is always very disciplined when it comes to final quality, it can also be extremely flexible when it comes to designing and offering a product suitable for unusual installations.
SPECIAL MOTORS
All Savino Barbera chemical pumps and industrial mixers can be customised with non-standard equipment. The only thing that stays the same, of course, is their resistance to corrosion. Centrifugal pumps in particular can be fitted with motors with voltages, frequencies, protection and paintwork tailored to the customer’s specifications. Our pumps can also be coupled to fan-assisted motors or to tropicalised motors suitable for working in particular climatic situations. Pictured opposite is a PVDF OMA50A chemical pump with an explosion-proof 3 kW motor. Application: drainage of 96% sulphuric acid at a temperature of 25°C in a petrochemical plant.
THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS
Technical equipment can be made recognisable in a number of ways: we prefer to do it with substance. Our attention has always been focused on the production of pumps and mixers designed perfectly for the most severe working conditions. With just a few construction standards, our products are able to meet a wide range of systems engineering requirements related to mixing and pumping industrial liquids. BUSHINGS, FILTERS, SUCTION EXTENSIONS
With bushings (filled-PTFE, sintered ceramic, silicon carbide) or without bushings. Vertical pumps can be fitted with filters of various sizes (at no extra cost). Optional suction extension pipes.
SUPPORT PLATES
Support plates with tailor-made dimensions are available by request, in alternative materials (metal or polymers other than PVC) and in special shapes (circular).
CUSTOM-MADE LENGTHS
Savino Barbera vertical chemical pumps do not have standard lengths but are manufactured to comply with system specifications: they are made in customised lengths between 200 and 3000 mm.

IMPELLERS WITH VARYING GEOMETRY
Pictured: AG20 polypropylene mixer for sulphuric acid, sodium hydroxide and chlorides. Application: precious metal recovery system. Features: 80 mm conical impeller. Our agitators can also be equipped with: 3-blade marine propellers, radial turbines, axial turbines, high-efficiency impellers, collapsible propellers.
MOTORS
Savino Barbera industrial mixers can be fitted with 4, 6 or 8-pole motors, motors with differentiated voltages and frequencies and motors with the possibility of inverter operation. They have rotation speeds from 50 to 2800 rpm (for mild, moderate or vigorous mixing). They are direct drive mixers or coupled to gearmotors (angular or coaxial). Couplings with lantern and joint are also possible.
PLASTIC AND METAL
Savino Barbera top-entry industrial mixers are mostly made of corrosion-resistant plastic materials (PP, PVC and PVDF) and in maximum lengths of 3500 mm. Metal versions (stainless steel) are also available, from 150 to 1300 mm.
