PFT31 DESCALING PUMPS
MADE UP OF ANTI-CORROSION PUMPS, POLYETHYLENE TANKS AND COLLECTION FILTERS. PFT31 CHEMICAL SCALE REMOVAL SYSTEMS ARE PRACTICAL PORTABLE UNITS SUITABLE FOR THE CHEMICAL WASHING OF SMALL HOUSEHOLD/INDUSTRIAL SYSTEMS.

HOW THEY WORK
Over time, various types of scale can be easily formed inside civil and industrial plants. PFT31 chemical descaling pumps, like all Savino Barbera scale removal systems, have the precise function of eliminating these impurities: the deposits are chemically dissolved by flushing appropriate acid solutions, bringing the operation of the systems back to normal levels. Their use does not require the dismantling of existing systems and is even recommended only as regular maintenance to prevent reductions in hydraulic performance and maintain industrial operation. Obviously, having no metal parts in contact with the chemical liquids being pumped, PFT31 descaling systems guarantee excellent resistance to chemical aggression.

HOSE ADAPTORS
Fittings: 3/4″ Ø 20 mm hose adaptor. The connecting pipes are not included in the supply: a flexible transparent, mesh-lined, plastic-coated PVC pipe (recommended piping) is available by request.
COLLECTION FILTERS
The presence of a filter on the return pipe allows the collection of impurities and sediments that come away during the washing phase (the filter must be checked regularly and kept clean).
SINGLE-PHASE MOTOR
The PFT31 scale removal system is equipped with a single-phase electric motor (550 W), fitted with on/off double pole switch with signal light and power supply cables.

PVC (POLYVINYL CHLORIDE)
PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is a plastic material with an excellent resistance to acids, bases, saline solutions and organic compounds: its operating temperature is usually between 40 and 60°C. The most common use of PVC is with sodium hypochlorite (NaClO). In the case of the PFT31 descaling pumps, PVC was chosen (due to its compatibility with most descaling chemicals) as the standard construction material for the pumps that are installed inside the descaling units.
